Bishop Kenneth L. & Evangelist Janice A. Hill
Bishop Kenneth L. Hill and Evangelist Janice A. Hill are dedicated servants of God with a shared passion for ministry, leadership, and the development of people for Kingdom impact.
Bishop Kenneth L. Hill is an ordained bishop in the Church of God and a third-generation Church of God leader who currently serves as the Administrative Bishop of the Great Lakes Region and the Director of the Pentecostal Theological Seminary Center for African Descent Studies (CADS). He has served the Church of God in numerous regional and denominational leadership roles, including as a former member of the Church of God Council of Eighteen (Executive Council). Bishop Hill holds a Doctorate in Divinity and an Honorary Doctor of Ministry. He is also a published writer and co-author of four books, and a retired U.S. Army Special Operations Command soldier with 20 years of honorable service.
Evangelist Janice A. Hill is an anointed evangelist, ordained minister, and Gospel recording artist with a passion for proclaiming the Gospel and seeing lives transformed by the power of God. Her ministry is shaped by a powerful testimony of God’s faithfulness and grace, a deep love for the presence of God, and a heartfelt commitment to encouraging,
strengthening, and empowering others. As Women’s Ministries Director of the Great Lakes Region, she is devoted to equipping women and helping them discover and fulfill their God-given purpose.
Together, Bishop and Evangelist Hill have devoted their lives to serving the Church, developing leaders, strengthening families, and touching communities through the Gospel. They are the proud parents of two children and grandparents of six.
Together, they are committed to leading, serving, equipping, and empowering the Great Lakes Region while advancing the Kingdom of God and making a lasting influence for His glory.


Youth & Discipleship Director & GIRLS ministries coordinator
Josh and Candace Vandergraph
Pastor Josh Vandergraph serves as the Youth and Discipleship Director for the Great Lakes Region and as Senior Pastor of Cornerstone Church in Beloit, Wisconsin. He has been involved in ministry for more than 20 years, including over 15 years of pastoral ministry.
Throughout his years of service, Pastor Josh has ministered as an Evangelist, Youth Pastor, Associate Pastor, Worship Leader, and Senior Pastor. He has also had the privilege of preaching at youth camps, Winterfest gatherings, and churches throughout the region. His heart is to serve the local church, encourage pastors and leaders, and help the next generation grow in their relationship with Jesus Christ.
Before coming to the Great Lakes Region, Pastor Josh served the Missouri Church of God in several leadership capacities, including the State Youth and Discipleship Board and State Council.
Candy Vandergraph serves alongside Pastor Josh in ministry and serves the Great Lakes Region as the Girls Ministry Coordinator. She has a heart for encouraging and investing in girls and young women and has previously served on the Missouri State Girls Ministry Board and State Women’s Board.
Pastor Josh and Candy have been married for 20 years and are blessed with four children: Elijah, Josiah, Aubrey, and Judah. Together, they are grateful for the opportunity to serve the Lord and the churches and families of the Great Lakes Region.

CHRIS AND MAY CHAPPELL
Bishop Chris and May Chappell are the lead Pastors of Crossroads Church in Chicago, IL. They have served the southern Chicago area for many years. Their heart and passion for their congregation and the Great Lakes Region shines as an example of true leadership. They also serve as the Great Lakes Region Evangelism Directors. They continue to pour into Pastors and congregations to help further each church of the GLR in their purpose.

REV. TANIA FRANKLIN
Tania Franklin faithfully serves the Great Lakes Region as Regional Secretary–Treasurer with excellence, integrity, and a deep commitment to the Kingdom. A credentialed minister in the Church of God and a devoted member of Crossroads Church of God, she carries both spiritual authority and administrative strength into her work, ensuring the region operates with wisdom, accountability, and forward vision. Alongside her, Ben Franklin, her husband, serves faithfully, generously giving his time and energy to assist with regional events and initiatives, often working behind the scenes to ensure everything runs smoothly.
